In celebration of its fifth issue, StreetWorthy is staging a release party at local gallery/performance venue The Box Factory in the heart of the Mission. The event will include music, dancing, beer and wine, food from local vendors, visual art, and best of all, admission’s totally free. Come meet the artists, writers, and independent publishers behind this grassroots collaborative venture and get involved! Early arrival is encouraged.
StreetWorthy seeks to build print culture community while providing developing artists with a platform for expression. We publish short fiction, essays, articles, comics, illustration and more by budding Bay Area writers and artists. The editorial team works closely with contributors to develop strong, engaging content that addresses diverse experience with humor and insight. StreetWorthy is distributed in bookstores, galleries, and zine-friendly businesses throughout the Bay Area.
